CN names Luc Jobin EVP-CFO, succeeding Mongeau

CN President and CEO E. Hunter Harrison announced Wednesday that Luc Jobin will become executive vice president and chief financial officer of the company on June 1 .

Jobin, who has recently served as executive vice president of Power Corporation of Canada, will succeed Claude Mongeau, who has been selected by the CN board to become president and CEO of the railroad on Jan. 1, 2010.

CN said that between June 1 and yearend, “Mongeau will serve as executive vice president, spending most of his time in the field broadening his knowledge of CN's network and operations before assuming his new duties.”

Harrison said Luc is “a seasoned corporate executive known for delivering sustainable corporate performance improvements and increased shareholder value.”
