According to the Railway Supply Institute (RSI) and Railway Engineering-Maintenance Suppliers Association (REMSA), “Many railway suppliers are interested in expanding their customer base and business partners abroad, particularly in the growing market of South America and in Europe. The RSI/REMSA sponsored USA Pavilion at InnoTrans in Germany this September and NT Expo in Brazil this November is an opportunity to exhibit easily with a larger presence than when exhibiting alone.”

Exhibit space is available at both events, at $15,000.00 per space. “REMSA and RSI are able to offer a turnkey service to exhibitors, which dramatically simplifies exhibiting at an international location,” says RSI’s Amanda Patrick. “Booth construction, furniture, meeting space, internet, catering service, translation services, and pre-departure assistance, including visa application assistance, are all included in the cost. (Airfare, hotel, business visa cost, and graphic design for individual exhibit spaces are not included). In short, we manage the space so you can focus on promoting your business.”

Several North American exhibitors in the USA Pavilion at InnoTrans 2012 relate postive experiences:

“The quality of visitors was excellent, and the USA Pavilion provided support and a comfortable place to engage our clients in business conversations.”—Ruben Peña, Government/Security and Latin America Projects Manager, Transportation Technology Center, Inc.

“The NT Expo provided IONX a great opportunity to showcase our latest railcar tracking and monitoring systems. We were able to catch up with a number of our existing customers and also broaden our contacts within the South American freight rail market.”— John Felty, Director of Sales, IONX LLC.

”NxGen Rail had a very positive experience at the NT Expo, which helped us reach potential customers and prospective business partners in this important international market.”—Patrick Cronin, Marketing Coordinator North America, Sasser Family Holdings, Inc.

“Expanding our track maintenance machinery and services business in the global market is a key goal for us; the USA Pavilion allowed us to concentrate on making connections in Brazil.”Erin Oldenburg, OEM Operations Administrative Assistant, Loram Maintenance of Way, Inc.
