"Each of these directors will bring a unique perspective and will be a valuable addition to the RSI Board," said RSI President Tom Simpson. "I am pleased that the RSI Board has continued the tradition of nominating people from the different disciplines within the supply community to better represent RSI's divergent membership base."
RSI's 2013 Officers are:
• Chair: Fred Sasser, chairman, Chicago Freight Car Leasing Co.
• Vice Chair: Mike Foxx, president and CEO, Strato, Inc.
• Secretary Treasurer: Jeff Stearns, vice president Sales and Marketing, Wabtec Corp.
The board consists of nine members; each board member serves a three-year term. The RSI board meets three to four times per year. The Board also has several subcommittees including an executive committee, a program committee, and an industry relations committee, RSI said.
