Andress joins FreightCar America from Wabtec Corp.; in his most recent role, he was vice president of Wabtec's Global Transit business. Prior to his tenure at Wabtec, he held business and operations leadership roles with companies that included VAE Nortrak and Delphi Automotive.

Andress holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Auburn University, and a MBA with a concentration in Operations Management from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
