The Railway Supply Institute has promoted Nicole Brewin to Vice President Government Affairs, and promoted Robyn Leach to Vice President Administration.

RSI President Tom Simpson said, “These promotions recognize the expertise and accomplishments of Nicole and Robyn, whose efforts have advanced the interests of our members and the railway supply industry.”

Brewin, who came to RSI in 2001 as assistant vice president, manages the organization’s government affairs activities. Her duties include planning and implementing RSI government relations strategy and being the point person with the U.S. Department of Transportation and other federal agencies.

Brewin also serves as treasurer of the RSI political action committee, coordinates the activities of the Board of Directors’ Government Affairs Committee and the membership’s Washington Affairs Committee, and sits on the Board of Directors of Operation Lifesaver, Inc.

Leach joined RSI in 1999 as office manager. She now also handles the organization’s financial accounts, helps coordinate the activities of several RSI Program Committees including the American Railway Car Institute, Tank Car and State Tax Committees, coordinates RSI’s relationship with the Coordinated Mechanical Associations (CMA), and oversees the annual CMA conference.

Leach also plays a planning role in the annual RSI trade show and assists with RSI’s participation in the biennial Railway Interchange conference and exhibition.
