The League of Railway Industry Women (LRIW) says it is now accepting nominations for its 2014 Outstanding Woman of the Year Award.

LRIW said the honor is bestowed to "women who have made significant contributions to the rail industry through their leadership, dedication, and vision." The 2014 award winner will be honored at the LRIW Annual Conference in Montreal Sept. 22, in conjunction with the RSI/CMA 2014 + Canadian Rail Summit.

A nomination form and more information about the award can be found on the LRIW website. A completed application and supporting documents are due July 31, 2014. Nominees must be women working within the rail industry.
