Direct the leadership for the Maintenance of Way (M of W) Department. This includes but is not limited to the Communication & Signals, Track & Structures, Traction Power and Operating Capital sub-departments. It is responsible for the maintenance and operation of Metro-North Railroad's (MNR) fixed infrastructure and associated operating systems.
Deputy Director, Track (Job ID: 79962 )
Plan, direct, manage and evaluate all functions of the Maintenance of Way (M of W) Track Department, including scheduling and budgeting to ensure that Metro-North's track and right-of-way are maintained in safe operating condition. Position requires particular emphasis on the planning and implementation of long range maintenance programs to effect improved train operation, a safer working and operating environment, and more efficient use of the Track Department's resources
Deputy Director, Track Production/Equipment & FRA Compliance (Job ID: 79961)
Plan, budget, coordinate and supervise the managers and first line supervision in the performance of daily production and maintenance programs on the Harlem, Hudson, New Haven and West-of-Hudson Lines. Position will assist the Director of the Track & Structures Dept. in the planning and programming of capital, production and maintenance schedules to contribute to the effective operation of the department.
Assistant Director, Maintenance & Special Projects (Job ID: 79960)
Plan, budget, coordinate and supervise first line supervision in the performance of daily maintenance and special projects operations on the Harlem Line and for assisting management of the Track & Structures Dept. in planning and programming of capital, special projects and maintenance schedules to contribute to the effective operation of the department. This position is responsible for ensuring department's compliance to all regulation and inspections mandated by the FRA.
