The U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), is currently recruiting for the Senior Executive Service (SES) position of Director, Office of Planning and Policy Analysis.
The Director, Office of Planning and Policy Analysis is located in the FRA, Office of Railroad Policy and Development, in Washington, DC, and will serve as the agency’s principal advisor on rail planning and policy. The incumbent will be responsible for national rail strategy, network and business planning, and support of policy and investment decisions. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in strategic, program and/or capital planning; policy development; and application of analytical tools, and extensive knowledge in rail, transportation, or other infrastructure related industry.
