Critical issues crowd NITL/IANA agenda

How bullish is the marketplace still on the continued growth of intermodal traffic in North America ? How will growing cargoes through Canadian and Mexican ports reshape the transportation picture?

These are among the 15 "critical and timely issues" that the National Industrial Transportation League (NITL) and the Intermodal Association of North America (IANA} will tackle during NITL's TramsComp Exhibition and Annual Membership Meeting and IANA's Intermodal Expo at the convention center in Anaheim, Calif., Nov. 11-13.

iana logoAmong the agenda's highlights, pre-conference roundtables on the opening day will acquaint attendees with "Best Practices for a Logistics Department" and an "Essential Check-list fore a Successful Transportation Contract."

Workshops on the tradeshow floor on Nov. 12-13 will cover issues ranging from Mexican outsourcing to compliance with hazmat regulations.
