OmniTRAX's Mike Ogborn to retire

Transportation management company OmniTRAX, Inc. said late Thursday that Managing Director and Executive Vice President Mike Ogborn will retire. No specific date was given.

Ogborn (photo, below right) began his career with OmniTRAX representing it before the Interstate Commerce Commission and other venues in the mid-1980s, then spent the next 20 years working within the company in various capacities. After retirement, Mike will continue to serve the company as a member of the OmniTRAX Advisory Board and will provide consulting services to it, the company said.Mike J. Ogborn

OmniTRAX President and CEO Gary Long said, "We greatly appreciate all that Mike has done for OmniTRAX and the companies it manages over the years to help us grow and prosper. We are grateful that he will continue to serve on our Advisory Board and be available to consult with us."

Denver-based OmniTRAX manages 17 regional and short line railroads, serving 11 U.S. states and three Canadian provinces, as well as providing intermodal services and operating transload companies. The company is an affiliate of The Broe Group, also based in Denver.
