RailAdvisor is a search engine & open-source platform for all things railway. It is solution-based railway knowledge, for rail professionals, by rail professionals. RailAdvisor includes a search engine and platform specifically developed for the railway industry, and is designed to help railway professionals when looking for global information such as news, events, jobs, contacts, technical information, company details and, most important, solutions. It is a one-stop-shop for all railway information in the professional arena.
RailAdvisor provides the first and only search engine and industry platform that is designed specifically with a single industry focus (the railway industry) and it now allows users to keep informed of the industry News & Events while searching for information on a specific topic.
Ryan McWilliams, CTO of RailAdvisor, stated, "We couldn't be more enthusiastic about this partnership with three of the world's most prestigious and credible news publications. RailAdvisor and its user base are going to benefit tremendously by having the most up-to-date and the most relevant news stories available directly from Age, IRJ, and RT&S on the RailAdvisor results pages."
McWilliams (pictured above) continued, "RailAdvisor is also in the process of partnering with some of the most relevant players in the industry to be able to browse their technical document archives that have been historically difficult or impossible to access. Additionally, we are providing a free platform for all of those companies and individuals whose work would be inaccessible if it weren't for this free and simple platform. Content from individuals, companies, and news organizations are what makes this site valuable and I want to thank all of the individuals that have registered their solutions and uploaded their technical documents. Keep adding content and stay tuned for more big announcements."
RailAdvisor was launched in June and is already experiencing up to 1,000 visitors a day participating from 72 countries. The platform reaches more than 20,000 railway professionals directly and has more than 30 key features/functions to be added in the upcoming months.
