Doug Bowen brings a long, distinguished career in journalism to Railway Age. Editor of Simmons-Boardman's Intermodal Age and Intermodal Editor of Railway Age from 1988 to 1991, he returns to the Simmons-Boardman Rail Group following editorial assignments with The Journal of Commerce, CNN/Money, Inbound Logistics, High Speed Transport News, and The Deal LLC. He began his journalism career as a reporter at The Asbury Park Press, a New Jersey daily newspaper. Bowen has an active hand in railway issues, serving as president of the New Jersey Association of Railroad Passengers.

The dean of American transportation journalists, Mr. Miller was chief editor of Railway Age for 34 years. He's known to a wider audience through his articles in Fortune magazine and the Encyclopedia Americana. He earned for Railway Age the Jesse H. Neal Award, the most prestigious honor in trade publishing.

A veteran railroad trade journalist with experience in public relations at the Chicago & North Western (now part of Union Pacific), Mr. Judge is a well-respected authority in the industry. In addition to being engineering editor of Railway Age, he is editor of Railway Track & Structures.
